The value of your donation is increased by the fact that the ratio of volunteer Red Cross workers to paid staff is almost 36 to one.

An average of 91 cents of every dollar the Red Cross spends is invested in humanitarian services and programs.

Contributions to the American Red Cross, a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code are deductible for computing income and estate taxes.

	OREGON PACIFIC CHAPTER AMERICAN RED CROSS  Your local Red Cross Chapter is committed to meeting the humanitarian needs of the people in Benton, Coos, Curry, Douglas, Lane, Lincoln and Linn counties, be it in disaster preparedness, disaster relief, First Aid and CPR training, or disease prevention.  You can help support your local chapter’s programs and services through a gift to the Oregon Pacific Chapter.
	LOCAL DISASTER RELIEF FUND You can help the victims of hundreds of disasters each year across the Oregon Pacific Chapter’s seven-county coverage area, disasters like home fires and flooding, by making a financial gift to the Oregon Pacific Chapter’s Local Disaster Relief Fund.  This Fund enables your local Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disasters in our community.
	NATIONAL DISASTER RELIEF FUND You can help the victims of thousands of disasters across the country each year, like the Flooding in the Southeast and the Tsunami in American Samoa, by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.  This Fund enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disasters.
	INTERNATIONAL RESPONSE FUND You can help the victims of countless crises around the world each year, crises like Typhoon Ketsana and the Indonesian Earthquakes, by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross International Response Fund, which will provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.
	MEALS ON WHEELS For more than 30 years, the Meals on Wheels program has been delivering hot, nutritious meals to the homes of homebound elderly and disabled residents in Lane County, helping the recipients maintain their independence.
